Green Mielies

Pronto F1

Single hybrid maize in SR52 class. Grown in summer countrywide. Pollinates well in hot conditions. Winter productions in frost free areas. This cultivar is bred primarily for 'green mielie' use with its soft white dent  kernels. (The dry grain is also suitable for milling.)  12-14 fairly straight rows. Very good flavour. Large cobs 25-28cm  long, 7-8cm in diameter.  Strong plant up to 2,2m. Few tillers. At 95-100 days maturity it is 5 days quicker than SR52 and 10 days for SC701.Tolerant to Rust. Resistant to Grey Leaf Spot, Leaf Blight and Smut. Plant 20-25 000 p/ha. Exclusive.

Musk melon, vinning type. Round 0,7-0,9kg orange fleshed fruit with good sweet melon flavour. Storage good. Fine but dense netting, pronounced sutures. Strong growing vines, 65-75 days to maturity from transplanting. Prolific yields. Resistant to Fusarium 0,1 & 2. Tolerant to Powdery Mildew.

Rebel F1

Rock melon, vinning type. Oval shaped fruit 1,4-1,5kg. Deep orange flesh. Very good storage. Fruits uniformly sized. Strongly netted, no sutures. 70-75 days to maturity from transplanting. Good sized plant with prolific yields. Resistance to Fusarium 0 & 2.

Perlita F1

Oval to round Galia type. Lightly netted. 1,6-1,8kg. Green flesh. 65-75 days to maturity after transplant. Good yielder. Resistance to Fusarium 0,1 & 2 and Powdery Mildew. 12-15 000 p/ha.

Tala Sweet F1

Stronly netted fruit with sweet green flesh. Remarkable shelf life for a netted melon.
