Flat White Boer-A

4-5kg white to cream skinned flat fruit with orange flesh. Vinning plant maturing at about 120 days. Strong grower doing well under dryland conditions. For fresh market.

Flat White Boer- van Niekerk

Similar to Boer A. 120 days to maturity. Cream coloured skin with orange flesh. Larger fruit 7-9kg. Vinning cultivar suited for dryland or irrigation. For fresh market.

Queensland Blue

Maturity up 130 days. Vinning cultivar. 4-5kg fruit having blue/grey skin colour with deep orange flesh. Strongly sutured. Tolerant to Powdery Mildew. Good keeping quality if allowed to mature properly on the vine.

Sweet Slice F1

Grey fresh market, slicing & storage pumpkin. Deep round slightly ribbed fruit with small well filled cavity. 6-10kg greenish grey skin with deep orange flesh. Very good storage when picked mature, in spite of high levels of sugars. Early maturity for a vinning cultivar at 85-100 days. Good yielder, up to 4 fruits/plant. Population ideal at 4000 p/ha. Exclusive.

Butternut   Waltham

Maturity 90-100 days. Vinning cultivar. 1-2kg pear-shaped fruit . Tan skin with orange flesh. Excellent flavour.

Gem   Loretta

Maturity 85-95 days. Vining plant growth. Medium to large round fruit, 200-300g. Dark green almost black skin with deep yellow flesh. Flavour improves with maturity. Also suitable for use as baby marrow. Good disease tolerance shown in the field.

Hubbard   Chicago Warted

Maturity 100-120 days. Strong vining growth. Large green oval fruit with protuding ends. 5-6kg. Dark green skin sometimes with pale stripes, flesh yellow colour. Relatively large hollow seed cavity. Excellent flavour. Good keeping quality.

Zucchini   Venus F1
 
Zucchini/Courgette type popular world wide. Strong bushy plant with good yield potential. Attractive cylindrical darkish green fruit. Lighter green flecking on the fruit. Has shown tolerance to virus. Accepted for export. Maturity 30-40 days.

Attractive dark green fruits with faint light green flecking. Very uniform and has been accepted for  export. Maturity 30-40 days. Shown very good tolerance against  virus.

Bright yellow skinned Zucchini type fruit. Maturity 30-40 days.

Marrow   Caserta

Long established popular cultivar with green striped fruit on bushy vine. Fruit may be harvested immature as a 'courgette' or left to size fully as a marrow.
